Stain the Deck

Once you finish washing your deck, it’s time to stain it. Doing so not only retains its youthful look but also protects the wood from harmful UV rays. There are many finish options you can choose from, including:

• Clear sealer that allows the wood’s natural grain and color to show.
• Toner that adds a small amount of color and provides some protection against sunlight.
• Semi-transparent stain that tints the wood but still lets some grain show.
• Solid stain with an opaque color that seals weather damage and fully covers the grain.
